****Every Sunday night at 6:30 p.m., the Greenfield United Baptist Church holds a service called Jesus in Jeans.

BIBLE STUDY IS ON TUESDAYS AT 1PM STARTING BACK

We will be celebrating Holy Communion the first Sunday of every month.

Please check out some pictures of our church and activities over the years on the display board in the church foyer. If you have any pictures to add to this display, please bring them in and add them to the board

 
 
 
Following is a list of events that have been planned for 2024

Some men of the church will hold a free brunch consisting of sausages, eggs, hash browns and toast on Sunday, April 21st after church.
May 5 Mother’s & Father’s Day—roast beef dinner and slab cake (free luncheon) (immediately after church service)
June 1 Yard sale & bake sale
June 8 Yard sale
July 14 Appreciation BBQ (immediately after church service) (free luncheon)
November 7 Take out Turkey Supper
November 30 Christmas sale & bake sale



ANNOUNCEMENTS MAY 6TH 2024​
 

  1. wish to welcome all of our regular congregants as well as our visitors to our morning worship service. We are very pleased that you have chosen to join us this beautiful morning as we worship the Lord together.

  3. We will be celebrating Communion today. Please put your empty juice cups and wrappings in the wastebasket in the foyer on your way out. Please do not leave them in the pews.

  4.  

  5. If anyone wishes to contribute towards the Benevolent Fund, there is a plate on the table in the foyer.

  6.  

  7. Next Sunday, May 12th, we have invited Cathy Truelove and Dale Sewers to perform some of their special music in celebrating Mother’s Day.

  9. On Sunday, May 19th, the Ladies Auxiliary will be holding a special roast beef dinner after church to celebrate Mother’s and Father’s Days. This meal will be free.

  10.  

  11. Bible Study will be held every Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. in our Church vestry.

A big thank you to Amy Grant, Tim Whynot, Cathy Truelove, Dale Sewers and Dick Henneberry for the fantastic Spring Concert with Songs of Faith and Inspiration which was held at our church on April 28th. We thank everyone who came out to support these wonderful musicians. If you were unable to attend, Kathy Whynot and Cory Pellerine both videotaped this wonderful event and put it on the church’s Facebook page.

  15. Please remember our annual yard sales which will be held on June 1st (including baked goods table) and June 8th from 8:00 a.m. to Noon.

During the yard sales in June, tickets will be sold on two baskets of groceries and household items.  If you wish to donate any items for the baskets, your donations of cans or boxes of food items, small household items and toiletries can be put in the container in the foyer. It is required that the “best before” dates be no earlier than July 2024. Thank you for your generosity.

  19. There will be a music jam held in the church vestry each Friday evening from 7 to 10 p.m. up to and including May 10th. For the Summer, the jam will be held biweekly. Admission is $2.00 a person. Bring your musical instrument and your singing voice and enjoy a night of entertainment or you could come and just enjoy some fantastic local music. Lunch will be provided.
